Opening aromas and flavours of straw, lemony musk with a hint of white pepper.
It is minerally vibrant and currently tight with a crisp, zesty palate.
This Huntington Estate 2022 Semillon expresses all the attributes of line, length and texture expected of a young cool-climate Semillon.
It would suit fresh oysters but, quirkily, we enjoyed ours with a sesame oil-dressed freshly picked, home grown salad of mixed Asian greens.
