Pale lemon hue with an initial aromatic lift of straw and a subtle underpinning of gooseberry.
The lemony grip then surfaces and coats the mid-palate.
It shows restraint but is also vibrantly inviting. The bone-dry acid, eye-watering component currently provides a linear profile.
It has all the attributes of a top echelon cool-climate Semillon of promise, which will benefit from some cellaring to allow integration of those delicate characters.
