6 yr old at release. Deep inky purple in colour, Alluring #coolclimate bouquet of red currants, raspberries, dried herbs + a hint of vanillin oak. The palate has superb, deep, truly exciting & enticing concentrated flavours, with a sublime, lingering finish. SENSATIONAL!!

I remember being awestruck by the inaugural 1974 vintage when I tasted it at 20 yrs old!!
