The initial fruit-driven delivery is one of bold, juicy aromas and flavours of maraschino cherries, dark berries, white pepper and mixed herbs.
It is currently bright and generous in its cool-climate varietal characteristics, supported by a savoury mid-palate and hints of violet and tobacco.
It is a fulsome, well-priced glycerol-laden (14% Alc) exhuberant winter warmer, well suited to roasts and hearty hotpots.
Enjoy now but will keep delivering over the next few years.
