D'ARENBERG 2021 'THE CUSTODIAN' GRENACHE ($22 / McLaren Vale, SA)
Consistently great, year after year, this wine has an attractive bouquet of red berries with just a smidge of earthiness. The palate is delicious with lashings of red fruit, a hint of savouriness, a souped up lovely big, lingering finish with some crunchy tannins. It will evolve magnificently over time to become a McLaren Vale Wine Region classic.
