This light to mid-bodied wine initially delivers a blast of Gamay (20%) characteristics displaying lively raspberry / cherry aromas and flavours with floral overtones.
The Pinot Noir component then unfurls a supporting mouthfeel of peppery leather, grippy cool-climate acid and fine tannins.
This blend from the Sapling Yard team is a fragrant, lively and refreshing wine ideally suited to the current warm weather.
We enjoyed ours, slightly chilled with a smoked ham & asparagus quiche.
