The sweet'n'tart front palate reflects those aromas as well as unfurling notes of mushroom straw and almonds.
This abundance of attributes is underpinned by crisp acidity and French oak grip.
This is a flavoursome, generously multilayered cool-climate Sangiovese currently enjoyed slightly chilled but would also reward some cellaring.
