Just released - This is a cracking wine in keeping with earlier vintages including the 2015- which won the inagural "Saprize" Award from Hvino - Georgian Wine for "The Best Non-Georgian Saperavi in the World" in 2017. It is a big wine, deep inky purple, almost black in colour, has an attractive, subtle bouquet of roasted beetroot, vegetables & some beefy notes. Big rich , gorgeous palate with dried herbs, betroot & mushrooms & significant but smooth & elegant tannins. Decant now or wait a while to enjoy this beauty.
