Initially restrained on the nose, it soon unfurled aromas and flavours channelling earthy undertones with wafts of fresh marjoram and, interestingly, maraschino cherry.
There is a supportive frame of white pepper, fine tannins and palate warming glycerol.
This brooding yet smooth Renzaglia Pinot Noir 2024, crafted by Sam Renzaglia from Gerald Naef grapes, is one to be enjoyed over this summer's barbecues or next winter's hearty casseroles.
