Attractive salmon pink colour on first pour.
Initial aromatic punch of pears (possibly due to the Pinot Gris component), rosewater and grapefruit lead to similar refreshing flavours.
The fragrant, grippy mid-palate enhances the abundance of well-balanced primary aromas and flavours which entice to yet another sip.
This easily enjoyable Sapling Yard wine would appeal to fans of both white and Rosé styles.
Its versatility renders it ideally suited to dishes appropriate to the current warm weather. We enjoyed ours with a creamy chicken and leek pie.
