This young Chardonnay is currently tight and restrained. There are definite undertones of melon, almond and vanillin oak waiting to express their attributes.
On breathing, it releases well-framed aromas and flavours of stonefruit, citrus, wild ferment and unfiltered lees characters with a lingering phenolic mid-palate.
It is a textural cool-climate Chardonnay of persistence, promise and one
which will reward some bottle sleep.
