This red blend boomer is multilayered both in aromas and flavours.
Cherry Ripe dark chocolate, red fruit, wafts of tobacco and mixed herbs entice the senses on first pour.
Barrel-driven coconutty / vanillin oak, grippy acid and warming glycerol smoothness (15%) all combine to allow the generous primary fruit power to continue to unfurl on breathing. It is currently flavoursome and fruit driven.
This is a fulsome, smoothly muscular, top-echelon, medal-worthy red from the Huntington Estate team.
It's definitely not one to be quaffed but is well-suited to hearty protein dishes.
