This New World expression of the Spanish varietal is the potential Winner of Best Dry White Table Wine (Other varieties) at the National Wine Show of Australia.
Top notes of pink grapefruit, rhubarb and melon deliver ongoing fulsome palate-coating aromas and flavours.
The hint of salinity and glycerol warmth (13% Alc) carry the generous and fragrant varietal attributes to a rewarding long finish.
It would ideally match a range of dishes such as Asian / Sub-continent inspired meals. We enjoyed ours with a chicken, Camembert and leek pie.
This is another top shelf, well crafted winner from the Sapling Yard team & one well worth seeking out.
