With already 6 years of bottle development and integration, this current release from Winemaker Duncan Cook shows all the attributes of a well-crafted, subtly emphatic, mature cool-climate Pinot Noir.
It displays a delicate yet flavoursome palate profile of wafts of mint, sour cherries and mushroom straw.
The oyster-shell minerality gives it grip, power and tightness.
It is food-friendly & one to be savoured now. We enjoyed ours equally over 2 dinners of duck a l'orange and slow-cooked beef casserole.
