This Sparkling Rose, in a clear bottle and under crown seal, is the first one of the genre from the Huntington Estate team (Mudgee NSW).
The initial fermentation was done on-site from estate-grown Grenache grapes and the secondary tank fermentation in the Hunter Valley.
It's generous in initial aromas and flavours of honeysuckle, thyme and a touch of rose petals.
The ripe, sweet 'n' savoury mid-palate coupled with a tangy, cheeky astringent finish makes it easily and enticingly gluggable.
It is definitely a Sparkling Rosé to be enjoyed now, especially on those warm days, either by itself and / or with green salads and charcuterie.
