The deep mulberry and purple hue leads to an initial rich nose of blackberries and coconutty oak. Top notes of chocolate, cigarbox and dried herbs swirl around the mid-palate. Smooth and integrated, it ticks the boxes expected of an aged, hearty Shiraz reflective of its terror.
To be enjoyed over the current barbecue season.
